Anyone would be happy for this gift jute bag bursting the flavours of Christmas. Our amazing Organic Winter Spiced Cinnamon Honey and Organic Winter Spiced Magic Tea compliment the season with its winter warming spices. Give a gift of nature!
Our delicious Winter Spiced Magic Tea is a blend of black tea, apple, rosehip, orange peel, juniper berry, cinnamon, star anise, cloves. Its distinctive aroma conjures up blazing fires, twinkling lights and joyful festivities, but why limit yourself to magic only in winter?
We don’t, and this tea, with all its associated health benefits, is available to you all year round.
All our herbal teas are made with passion, using the finest natural ingredients with no artificial flavourings, colourings, or preservatives, and come in aroma-sealing packaging that keeps the tea fresh for months.
It’s all in the ingredients:
Black tea, also translated to red tea in various East Asian languages, is a type of tea that is more oxidized than other teas. Black tea is generally stronger in flavour than other teas.
Rose hips are the round, seed-filled bulbs found underneath rose petals. Unlike rose blossoms, which bloom in the spring and summer months, rose hips generally grow after the petals have bloomed and started falling off, which is usually in early to mid-Autumn. In fact, they’re considered sweeter when picked after the first frost of the season.
The juniper tree, Juniperus communis, is an evergreen shrub that produces seed cones that are commonly known as juniper berries which are deep blue. Their aroma is often described as woody or spicy and they have a tart, pine-like flavour.
Cinnamon is a spice that comes from the bark of the Cinnamomum tree. This bark is then harvested and dried. It produces curls, which are commonly recognised as cinnamon sticks. Cinnamon can be used as whole sticks, an extract or ground. It is a healthy and popular used spice that is used for cooking, baking and as a supplement.
Star anise is a spice made from the fruit of the Chinese evergreen tree Illicium verum.
It’s aptly named for the star-shaped pods from which the spice seeds are harvested and has a flavour reminiscent of liquorice so adds a delicious sweetness to our tea.
Cloves are the flower buds of the clove tree, an evergreen also known as Syzygium aromaticum. They are best known as a sweet and aromatic spice.
Both fruits add fabulous flavour to this fruity, spicy blend.
Preparation:
Pour 250 ml of hot water over 1-2 teaspoon of our Organic Spiced Magic Tea. Leave to brew for 10 minutes, strain and your tea is ready. Flavour to your liking and enjoy.
One jar contains 40-45 cups of tea.
