Both cannabinoids have similar applications for health issues because they both reduce pain sensations in the brain. However, CBG is more effective than CBD for treating migraines and easing muscle soreness.
CBD and CBG are both nonintoxicating cannabinoids, meaning they won’t make you high. They also both interact with the same receptors in the body, according to a 2018 study, and appear to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, and analgesic properties.
However, CBG does seem to have some different functions and health benefits than CBD.
Full-spectrum CBD products contain a small amount of many cannabinoids. Plus, it’s believed that cannabinoids work best when they’re all taken together.
THC FREE products do not contain all the cannabinoids but our Full spectrum does contain many beneficial cannabinoids. That is the reason why Full spectrum oils are more beneficial compare to board spectrum THC free products.
CBG (cannabigerol) is often referred to as the “mother of all cannabinoids.” This is because CBGA, the acidic precursor to CBG, starts off in great abundance in hemp and cannabis plants. Almost all of the CBGA then transforms into CBDA or THCA, but a fraction of it becomes CBG.
Because it occurs in such tiny quantities, usually less than 1% of the plant mass, it is known as a “rare” or “minor” cannabinoid. Other rare cannabinoids include: THCV (known for energy and appetite control), CBC (believed to fight depression), and CBN (often used for relaxation and restful sleep), CBDA (reportedly good for nausea), and delta-8-THC (which has similar benefits to delta-9-THC but is derived from hemp).
When cannabinoids such as CBG and CBD are used together, they can increase the effectiveness of each other through the phenomenon of the entourage effect.
