Grilled Peach, Tomato & Burrata Salad with Honeycomb and Basil

This elegant summer salad brings together the sweetness of ripe peaches, the rich creaminess of burrata, and the fragrant depth of fresh basil for a dish that’s as beautiful as it is delicious. Grilling the peaches enhances their natural sugars, adding a subtle smokiness that pairs perfectly with juicy beefsteak tomatoes. The burrata melts slightly into the warm fruit, creating a luxurious texture. A slice of golden honeycomb adds a delicate floral sweetness and a hint of crunch, elevating the dish to something truly special. Serve as a refreshing starter or a light, indulgent lunch - perfect for entertaining or treating yourself on a warm day.


Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe peaches
  • 1 large beefsteak tomato
  • 1 ball of burrata
  • 1 slice of honeycomb
  • Fresh basil leaves

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the peaches: Slice the peaches into wedges. Heat a grill pan over high heat and grill the peach slices until charred grill marks appear and the fruit begins to caramelise, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  2. Slice the tomato: Cut the tomato into thick slices.
  3. Assemble the salad: Arrange the grilled peaches and tomato slices on a serving plate. Tear the burrata gently and place it over the fruit. Add a slice of honeycomb on top or to the side, and scatter fresh basil leaves for a fragrant finish.
  4. Optional: Drizzle with a little olive oil or balsamic glaze if desired.
